Fair Fashion: naar een eerlijke kledingindustrie
organiseert op woensdag 12 mei in Pakhuis de Zwijger, Amsterdam een event
waarbij de keten van kleding onder de loep wordt genomen: van katoenveld tot
afvalberg. Gezamenlijk en tijdens workshops zullen diverse sprekers elk een
andere schakel van de kledingketen uitpluizen. Hierbij komen zowel de issues
als de oplossingen aan bod. Het event is speciaal voor studenten en docenten in
het modeonderwijs (maar iedereen is uiteraard welkom).
Met sprekers:
O.a. Beauty Zibula, kledingarbeidster en vakbondsleider,
werkt al jaren in de Zuid-Afrikaanse kledingindustrie. Zij vertelt over haar
leven in de fabriek en hoe belangrijk het werk van vakbonden is om
arbeidsomstandigheden te verbeteren.
Workshops door:
- Beauty Zibula, kledingarbeidster en vakbondsleider, werkt al jaren
in de Zuid-Afrikaanse kledingindustrie. Zij vertelt over haar leven in
de fabriek en hoe belangrijk het werk van vakbonden is om
